Following a two-year renovation, the shopping centre reopened its doors with a show organised by VO Event and set design by Luc Petit. The extravaganza introduced Tournai residents to a whirlwind of fantasy characters and surrealist vehicles. The Académie André Delvaux called on VO Event to coordinate the awards ceremony for the “Belgian Oscars”. VO Event rolled out the red carpet for the VIP invitees, treating them to an elegant, sophisticated evening bursting with sequins and charm. Cocktails, an awards ceremony and a gala dinner proved a flawless line-up for this star-studded event.
The Waterloo 1815 non-profit organisation chose VO Event and its partner Verhulst Event & Partners to put on Europe’s biggest ever historical re-enactment. 130,000 spectators, 5,300 performers, 360 horses, 4 tonnes of gunpowder, and 100 cannons were involved in this “magnificent, memorable re-enactment,” that rose to the occasion, and for which VO Event had to resolve numerous technical and logistical challenges.View video
For the opening of the Docks Bruxsel new-generation urban shopping district and leisure centre, VO Event made Brussels shine. Guests enjoyed a DJ set, fanfare and roving musicians, a live concert by Belgian artists, dancing, and aerial performances—an explosion of activities that gave the capital’s newest quarter a fantastic kick-off.View video
